ri4em5tra3k's Message to etchNride...

Hello again, etchNride... I'm not surprised that you are still here and just reduced to ashes. Here I am again, after half a year to say some more heartfelt words to this once dear, enjoyable website...

You started off really well, users from around the world would come on this lovely and wonderful site to have serious amounts of fun. I myself, remember the day I joined etchNride and oh boy, I just found myself lost in the lots of enjoyments found around the website.

I even made friends that I still remember, like: fore, bikemaster, archdesign, wobsy and iceman1. They were such friendly and gentle souls to collaborate with to create tracks for many users to see. I loved every second I was on etchNride. <3

But now, in the present, etchNride has just been forgotten about by literally EVERYONE on this site. Users just found better stuff to love, technology has improved and has taken over the classics and even worse, I bet wessite has just left his own game to rot in the back of the internet, where no one will be able to find it ever again.

This is just so sad for me and maybe some others if they are still here. I will miss etchNride so much, because it was on the main website games that lead me to loving more games and stuff in the world. <3

I hope at least someone will find this post, so they will know the truth of what happened to etchnride.com...

    It Got Abandoned.

    Hey ri4em5tra3k,

Thanks for your heartfelt words about etchNride. I am really amazed and happy you and so many others enjoyed playing this game.

It's true that I stopped development and let the game go its own course but I do still make sure it stays up and running. It costs a few dollars a month for hosting which is covered by running the ads.

I want to thank you and all the other track etchers and riders for building such a nice community. I really appreciate it! I wish I could work on personal projects like etchNride everyday but unfortunately I have bills to pay and can't make a living by doing so.

I hope you understand. All the best!

    Wesley

I for one still enjoy playing the game. I still come back every now and then and continue working on tracks I started around 6 years ago. It has to be one of my favourite games of all time.

    So thank you for that.

I sure I speak for all of us when I say we understand how much time and effort you used to take and still do to maintain this game and its community, and we really appreciate it.
I've followed your work ever since and it's clear you've moved on to bigger and better things. We wish you all the best. :)

This game will always have a special place in our hearts.

PS - I'm just surprised this game is still in beta ;)

    Oath to everything said.

The occasional visit and play is still entertaining, but the true fun came from all the brilliant people on the site. A community that was second to none at the time.
